Import Files into Garageband
Garageband is Digital Music Production software developed by the reputed company Apple. The company came up with the idea to release it because they were aiming for the entertainment industry.
Garageband rose to popularity given the fact that it offers several features at the lowest price. The Apple fans appreciate the stability including updates. No one can deny it is an excellent tool for the newbies to produce new music at a faster pace with MacBook and Mac PC. You can add MP3 song to the project and start mixing it with effects and add your creativity to it.
Step 1: Launch the garage band on PC and then click on the + icon.
Step 2: You have two options on the screen and select “create a new song” to add custom MP3 song.
Step 3: Click on the “voice” to start importing an MP3 file.
Step 4: Click on the menu icon located at the top menu, and it will open the editor.
Step 5: Now, click on the loop menu, so you can browse for MP3 files saved in local storage.
Step 6: The music library will load on your screen, and you have to click on “music” to view more.
Step 7: Start searching for the MP3 song that required for the project, and then drag the song.
Step 8: After dragging the song, and keep holding it, so the function takes back to the recording interface and then drop the song.
Usually, it takes a few moments for Garageband to load the track. The music production software starts separating the tracks so that you can add advanced level effects.
Importing a custom song or MP3 in Garageband is very easy, and it does not take a lot of time to load the track as well. Make sure that copyright marks or watermarks do not protect the MP3 song. DRM protected files are not easy to import in Garageband.
